Today, the Japan national team squad was announced for the EAFF E-1 Football Championship 2017 Final Round matches against the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (December 9 @ Ajinomoto Stadium), China (December 12 @ Ajinomoto Stadium), and South Korea (December 16 @ Ajinomoto Stadium).
From Kashima Antlers, Shoji, Ueda, Yamamoto, Kento Misao, Nishi, and Kanazaki were selected.
