■ Background and Purpose of the New York Office Establishment
Twenty-five years after the establishment of the Japan Professional Football League (J.League), domestic soccer has undergone significant changes in both competition and business. In addition to strengthening top teams and international exchange among youth categories, connections with the global market are becoming increasingly active in business aspects, including sponsorships and broadcasting rights.
Against this backdrop, we have decided to establish an office in New York, USA, with the primary objectives of collecting information and networking in both strengthening and business aspects, promoting marketing and sponsor sales in the global market, and researching advanced digital marketing case studies of Major League Soccer (hereinafter "MLS*"). With the establishment of our club's first overseas office, we aim to further promote the club's development while enhancing the value of Kashima Antlers in the global market, beyond the boundaries of Japan and Asia.

In terms of marketing, it has a track record of rapidly expanding its fanbase through initiatives utilizing social media, such as establishing MLS Digital, which brings together digital experts.

For the establishment of the New York office, we will partner with Blue United Corporation (President & CEO Takehiko Nakamura), which provides various sports management consulting services and overseas support for athletes in the United States. The company is responsible for MLS's Asia business and has a track record of bridging the MLS/North American sports world with the Japanese/Asian sports world, supporting sports organizations, companies, and athletes in their international expansion.
