Notice to customers using au feature phones (EZweb)

Regarding the "EZ Paid Information Service" provided on au feature phones (EZweb), au has announced that the SSL certificate will be changed to the more secure "SHA-2" method starting in December 2016.
Due to this change, some au mobile phone devices that do not support the "SHA-2" method will no longer be able to register for new "EZ Paid Information Service" subscriptions.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to affected customers and ask for your understanding and cooperation.

■Change Date and Time
December 14, 2016 (Wednesday) 9:00 - 17:00

■Affected Scope
New registration procedures for the "EZ Paid Information Service" will no longer be possible on some au mobile phone devices that do not support the "SHA-2" method.
*Customers who are currently registered can continue to use the service.
*There is no impact on smartphone users.
