[What is the J.League SKY PerfecTV! New Year Cup?]
The J.League will centrally host pre-season training matches, which were previously conducted individually by each club, as a single tournament. The venues will be divided into 3 locations across Miyazaki and Kagoshima Prefectures, with 3 to 4 J.League clubs participating at each venue. The purpose of this tournament is to heighten anticipation for the season's opening among soccer fans through TV broadcasts, and to convey the significance of J.League clubs by holding events in Miyazaki and Kagoshima Prefectures, where no J.League clubs currently exist.
