We would like to inform you about the handling of support items, including banners and flags, for the AFC Champions League Elite 2026/27 MD3 match against Pohang Steelers, scheduled for Wednesday, October 28.
For this tournament, the handling of large flags and banners requires not only club approval but also mandatory application to and approval from the AFC (Asian Football Confederation) and the opposing club. Therefore, even if a banner has been approved by Kashima Antlers, if it has not been applied for or approved by the AFC, it will not be permitted for display inside the stadium for ACL Elite matches, regardless of whether it is a home or away game.

・Bringing and using support items (flags, banners, etc.) that have not been pre-approved by Kashima Antlers is prohibited. Please ensure you submit a prior application to Kashima Antlers using the form above.
・Since ACL Elite is operated under AFC rules, support items that may cause disruption—such as the "Rising Sun Flag," or flags, banners, or clothing depicting "Che Guevara," "skulls," or "bones"—are prohibited, regardless of the opponent or venue. Additionally, even for items approved by the AFC, if they are judged on the day by the AFC to contain political or religious messages (including designs), you may be asked to refrain from using them on the spot.
・When submitting designs for items, please ensure the entire item is visible in the photo.
・Please allow sufficient time for your application, as approval by both Kashima Antlers and the AFC may take time.
・All applications will be submitted collectively to the AFC and the opposing club after the application period ends.
