We are pleased to announce that the Meiji Yasuda J1 League 2026/27 Matchday 1 fixture between Yokohama F. Marinos and Kashima Antlers, to be held on Friday, August 7 (kick-off at 19:25 at MUFG Stadium), will be broadcast live nationwide on Fuji Television Network (excluding some regions).
This will be the first live terrestrial nationwide broadcast of a J1 League match during prime time in 24 years, since 2002.
This match, featuring the only two clubs that have continuously competed in J1 since the league's inception in 1993, will be held as the "2026/27 Season Opening Commemorative Match," and is planned to feature the largest-scale production in J.League official match history, along with various other initiatives.
