We are pleased to announce that J.League today (June 16) has released the annual match schedule, proposed dates, and "MUFG THE KOKURITSU DAY" matches for the 2026/27 Meiji Yasuda J1 League.
The 2026/27 Meiji Yasuda J1 League will kick off on Friday, August 7, and matches will be played in 2026 until the 20th round on Saturday, December 19. After a winter break, the season will resume on Saturday, February 13, 2027, and the final round (38th round) will be held on Sunday, June 6.
Further details for the J.League YBC Levain Cup will be announced on Monday, June 22 at 13:00, and for the 2026/27 Meiji Yasuda J.League matches scheduled for 2026 will be announced on Wednesday, July 1 at 13:00.

About the MUFG Stadium (National Stadium) match (vs. Tokyo Verdy on Dec 19)
The 20th round of the 2026/27 Meiji Yasuda J1 League match against Tokyo Verdy, to be held on Saturday, December 19, will be a home game at MUFG Stadium (National Stadium) as "MUFG THE KOKURITSU DAY."
From the 2024 season, J.League has been calling matches held at the National Stadium for the Meiji Yasuda J.League "THE KOKURITSU DAY," and from this season onwards, it will be renamed "MUFG THE KOKURITSU DAY." As a key brand for the entire J.League, the aim is to promote the J.League experience through matches held at MUFG Stadium, and to provide the live play and stadium viewing experience of the J.League to more people, regardless of their origin or residence. For the 2026/27 season, a total of 18 matches, the most since "THE KOKURITSU DAY" (then name) began, will be held.
Kashima Antlers has been holding home games at MUFG Stadium for three consecutive years since the 2023 season. We recorded over 50,000 spectators for the match against Nagoya Grampus on Sunday, May 14, 2023, against Yokohama F. Marinos on Saturday, June 1, 2024, and against Kawasaki Frontale on Sunday, May 11, 2025, and won all matches.
The club will continue to position this as an important opportunity to expand the circle of Antlers Family and plans to roll out various promotions. We appreciate the understanding of SÓCIO and season ticket holders, as well as those who may experience inconvenience or trouble due to the venue change.
