Comment from Player Hayakawa on Receiving the Award
"I am truly happy to receive such a wonderful award. Thank you very much. I have dreamed of becoming a soccer player since I was a child. The desire to become a J.LEAGUE player, play actively, and win the World Cup also grew within me. I am happy that I have steadily taken steps since I was a child and have come this far. I want to thank the many people who have supported me since I was a child. I believe I could not have won this award without winning the championship, and I want to thank my teammates who fought through a tough season and everyone who has been involved with me. I will work even harder. This is only the second time a goalkeeper has received the MVP award (for the league), and I want to become a player who can make children think, "I want to be a goalkeeper, I want to be like Hayakawa," even a little bit, and I want to continue activities and expressions that make people think that goalkeeping is a wonderful position."
