We have received many comments regarding excessive seat-saving in unreserved seating areas during home games. We have also made announcements on large screens, vision displays, and through PA systems, and our staff have spoken to spectators. However, many instances of seat-saving still occur.
As stipulated in the Mercari Stadium Spectator Rules, saving seats in the stands is prohibited, and therefore, only one seat per person may be reserved. Updated on 2025/7/18
Furthermore, watching the match from areas other than those indicated on your ticket is prohibited. Customers with tickets for other areas, including reserved seats, are requested to refrain from moving to the Supporter's Seat area.
We kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation in adhering to the spectator rules so that everyone can enjoy watching the match comfortably.
Rules regarding seat-saving
Only one seat per person may be reserved
The following acts are prohibited:
(1) Intentional saving or reserving of multiple seats in unreserved seating areas
(2) Reserving seats for individuals who do not possess tickets for that specific seat type
(3) Reserving seats for individuals who will arrive later
If security guards or staff determine that an act constitutes seat-saving or reserving a spot, items placed on seats, such as blankets, will be removed or reduced.
Examples of items that will be removed or reduced when saving seats include:
(1) Reserving multiple seats using towel scarves
(2) Reserving multiple seats using tape or string
(3) Reserving multiple seats using flags or flagpoles
(4) Reserving multiple seats using cloths, signs, or other markers
*Items may be removed or reduced even if they do not fall under the above examples.
If the above rules are not followed, you may be asked to leave the stadium.
Furthermore, if a large number of reserved seats are confirmed (including after the fact), future entry may be prohibited as a violation of the spectator rules.
While our staff will do their best to caution and speak to individuals regarding seat-saving, our personnel are limited. Therefore, we ask for your cooperation in adhering to the spectator rules.
