"I have decided to transfer permanently to FSV Mainz. I am truly sorry to be leaving Antlers in the middle of the season. However, when I considered my future life, and in order to grow further as a footballer, I strongly wished to seize this opportunity and decided to take on the challenge overseas with determination. When I joined Antlers in 2023, I had been unable to play football for nearly half a year due to overtraining syndrome. In that situation, I received an offer from Antlers, and I was able to rediscover the joy of playing football and my love for the sport. I believe my football career would have ended without Antlers. And by always being committed to victory and fighting united with players, staff, and everyone involved with the club, I believe I was able to grow. The cheers of the supporters in the stadium were always encouraging and a driving force for me on the pitch. I will do my best to showcase my play in Europe, perform well in matches, and become a player who can represent Japan. Once again, to all the fans, supporters, partners, local residents, and everyone involved with Antlers, thank you very much for the past year and a half."
