On Saturday, June 22nd, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, we held a pick-up futsal event for elementary school students at the Antlers Clubhouse.
This time, the participants were divided into two groups: 1st and 2nd graders, and 3rd and 4th graders.
For the 1st and 2nd graders, there were 12 participants, and they played 6-on-6. What was good to see was that some children naturally used positive language, such as shouting instructions to teammates, saying "Nice!" when a teammate made a good play, and "Reset!" when a mistake was made. This is excellent in soccer. Mistakes are inevitable in soccer, and getting angry every time one occurs does not lead to good teamwork. Such positive encouragement is crucial.

For the 3rd and 4th graders, there were 11 participants, so a coach also joined, and they played 6-on-6 matches. This pick-up futsal focused on winning and losing, and the scores. The impression was that each battle was intense, and the transitions between offense and defense were quick, making it an enjoyable futsal experience both to play and to watch. One factor was that it was raining, so the ball moved faster than usual, leading to a match where skill was truly tested.

We played 10 matches, each lasting 8 minutes.
Even after it ended, there were comments like, "I want to play more, it's not enough," making it a very fun pick-up futsal session with a great atmosphere.
