We divided the 1st and 2nd graders into 3 teams and the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th graders into 3 teams, and played a round-robin tournament.

First, I told them, "Let's make this a place where we can improve our skills, even if just a little. Let's play with a theme, not just randomly."
For the 1st and 2nd graders, the theme was "observing." I told them to observe "the positions of opponents and teammates, where on the court is open (space), and the positions of the goal and the ball" during the game. For the 3rd to 6th graders, the theme was "passing." I explained that there are various types of passes, such as low short passes, high long balls, fast passes, and slow passes. I told them to "choose and execute the type of pass according to the situation."

During the matches, there were many instances where the 6th graders, who were the oldest, vocally led their teams.

Although the temperature exceeded 30°C, no one felt unwell, and everyone maintained their energy until the end.
The impression was that everyone was running around energetically throughout.

We will continue to hold events that everyone participating, regardless of grade level, can enjoy!
We look forward to seeing many of you at the next "Futsal for Elementary School Students" event!
