The 2017 Kitchen Sumireya Presents Kashima Antlers Futsal Tournament U-12 will be held at Tsukuba Academy Center on Saturday, June 3, 2017.

7) Competition Method
■Preliminary League
The 12 participating teams will be divided into 3 groups of 4 teams each to play a league round.
The league round will be conducted based on points (win: 3 points / draw: 1 point / loss: 0 points).
In case of a tie in points, the ranking will be determined by (1) goal difference, (2) total goals scored, (3) head-to-head record between the tied teams, (4) lottery.
■Final Tournament, 5th-8th Place Tournament, and 9th-12th Place Tournament
Final Tournament: [1st place from each group], and 1 team from the top 2nd-place teams of Groups A, B, and C will advance. Opponents will be determined by lottery.
5th-8th Place Tournament: [2nd place from each group], and 2 teams from the top 3rd-place teams of Groups A, B, and C will advance. Opponents will be determined by lottery, conducted by the headquarters.
9th-12th Place Tournament: [4th place from each group] and 1 team from the bottom 3rd-place teams of Groups A, B, and C will play. Opponents will be determined by lottery, conducted by the headquarters.
In the Final Tournament, 5th-8th Place Tournament, and 9th-12th Place Tournament, if there is a tie, the team advancing to the next match will be decided by a penalty shootout.
The final match will have an extension of 6 minutes (3 minutes per half), and if it is still tied, it will be decided by a penalty shootout.
8) Match Rules
Teams must be composed of U-12 players (elementary school 6th grade and younger).
The tournament will be a 5-a-side futsal competition, including goalkeepers and field players.
It will comply with the futsal competition rules set by the Japan Football Association.
However, specific futsal local rules will be established as tournament regulations.
Match time will be 8 minutes per half (running time).
Player registration is limited to 20 players.
Teams must be enrolled in sports injury insurance.
Parental consent must be obtained for participation.
Submission of a member list is not required.

As this tournament will be held on an outdoor court, there is a possibility of cancellation in case of severe weather.
Regarding footwear, spikes are prohibited; futsal shoes or training shoes are required.
In case of cancellation, a decision will be made at 8:00 AM on the day of the tournament and representatives of each team will be notified.
The event will proceed in light rain, but please contact us if the judgment is difficult.
There will be no opening ceremony. Each team must complete registration at the tournament headquarters 45 minutes before their match starts.
The tournament referees will be provided by the organizer, with one referee per match.
