The Kitchen Sumireya Presents Soccer Festival will be held at Tsukuba Academy Center on Thursday, September 22 (holiday).
The day will be all about soccer! We will be holding three events: the popular 3-on-3 tournament at Antlers Tsukuba School, a 5-a-side futsal tournament, and parent-child soccer!
In addition to soccer, the "PHOENIX CHEERLEADERS," based in Tsukuba City, will perform cheerleading, and local gourmet food stalls selling pork skewers and soup curry will be set up to liven up the festival!

[1] For 1st, 2nd, and 3rd graders! 3-on-3 Tournament
Event Description
3-on-3 is a mini-soccer game played by three players on each side. Because it's played with a small number of people, there are many opportunities to touch the ball and many 1-on-1 battles. Why not participate in the popular 3-on-3 tournament at Tsukuba School?
〇Time: 11:00 - 14:00 (Registration from 10:00)
〇Rules: 7-minute halves. The preliminary round will be played in a round-robin format divided into two groups. After the preliminary round, a ranking match will be held. Mini goals will be used. 3 players, no goalkeeper. Play will restart with a kick-in or dribble-in.
*Match times may change depending on the number of teams.
〇First 8 teams (for each grade)
〇Application deadline: 9/3 (Sat)
〇Participation fee: 4,000 yen/team
The winning team will receive a special champion T-shirt!
[2] For 4th, 5th, and 6th graders! Junior Futsal Tournament
Event Description
The Junior Futsal Tournament is a 5-a-side futsal tournament.
Why futsal? Because compared to 8-a-side soccer, the court size is smaller, offering more opportunities to touch the ball. There are also many 1-on-1 situations and chances to score many goals, so if you participate, you're sure to get hooked!
〇Time: 15:00 - 18:00 (Registration from 14:00)
〇Rules: 7-minute halves. The preliminary round will be played in a round-robin format divided into two groups. After the preliminary round, a ranking match will be held. Futsal goals will be used. Played with 5 players. Rules will follow the Japan Football Association U12 Futsal Competition Rules.
*Match times may change depending on the number of teams.
〇First 8 teams (for each grade)
〇Application deadline: 9/3 (Sat)
〇Participation fee: 5,000 yen/team
The winning team will receive a special champion T-shirt!
[3] For kindergarten, nursery school students to 6th graders! Parent-Child Soccer
Event Description
Antlers school coaches will introduce exercises that parents and children can do together and fun activities using a ball!
After practice, let's play a game together!
If you don't usually get to kick a ball with your child, why not participate?
〇Time: 11:00 - 13:00 (Registration from 10:00)
〇First 30 pairs
〇Application deadline: 9/3 (Sat)
〇Participation fee: 1,500 yen (1 parent + 1 child) *500 yen will be added for each additional person
