Teqball Report [Tsukuba School] (8/17)

On Thursday, August 17th, the 4th-grade students of the Tsukuba Special Course challenged themselves with Teqball at the Tsukuba Academy Center!

The Teqball session was held before practice.

What started with just two players gradually grew as more students joined, eventually reaching nearly ten.

As 4th-graders in the Special Course, many students were accustomed to handling airborne balls. However, with Teqball, the ball's bounce is unpredictable, requiring players to skillfully use not only both feet but also their thighs and chest.

Some players struggled with their non-dominant foot, even if they were proficient with their dominant one!

Amidst this, some students actively challenged themselves to overcome their weaknesses or devised ways to compensate for them in other areas.

Furthermore, some students emphasized maintaining the right distance from the Teqboard.

Being too close to the board can sometimes make it harder to react, so some students showed ingenuity by keeping a certain distance and adjusting to the ball.

We will continue to utilize Teqball to improve our technical skills.
