Teqball Report [Tsukuba School] (6/7)

On Wednesday, June 7th, 5th and 6th graders from the Tsukuba School Enhancement Course tried Teqball at the Tsukuba Academy Center!

After reviewing the rules, they started!

While they were good at trapping, it seemed difficult to gauge the strength when returning the ball to the opponent. If they hit it too softly, it wouldn't reach the opponent's court, and if they hit it too hard, it would go out of bounds. Initially, they struggled a bit.

However, as they continued, they seemed to get the hang of it, and rallies gradually became longer.

Furthermore, they started to consciously focus on trapping and preparing to respond to the ball no matter where it came from, rather than just continuing the rally.

There were even moments of strategic play, such as returning the ball with a single touch or using both feet deftly to surprise their opponent.

Although it was a short time, many players corrected their mistakes and thought about how to return the ball to their opponent, then executed their plans.

We will continue to utilize Teqball to improve individual skills, such as trapping aerial balls and returning them to the intended spot, regardless of grade level.
