On Sunday, August 21st, a "Day Trip Summer Camp" was held at the Mito City Youth Nature House for first graders in the Tsukuba and Norte areas.
22 children participated and learned many things beyond just soccer.
〇 Orientation: Building Bingo
As some children were nervous about their first group activity, we started with Building Bingo.
Divided into 4 groups, they explored various places within the facility in a short amount of time. All groups worked together and found many insect stickers!

〇 Curry Cooking Help & Antlers Quiz
For lunch, with the support of parents, we cooked curry outdoors.
The children helped with tasks they could do, such as carrying dishes and fanning the fire with a fan to light the firewood.
While the curry was cooking, we held an Antlers Quiz, and everyone had a great time thinking and answering various questions in groups!
After eating in groups, the children washed and put away the utensils they used.

The winning team was the Pink Team!!!

On Sunday, August 28th and Monday, August 29th, a "Summer Camp" was held for second and third graders in the southern and western parts of the prefecture.
25 children participated and learned various things on and off the pitch over a 2-day, 1-night stay.
[Day 1]
〇 Orientation
Unfortunately, it rained on the morning of the first day, but since the BBQ area at Tsukubasan Fureai no Sato, the venue, had a roof, we held an orientation there, divided into 5 groups. This time, there were participants not only from the Tsukuba school but also from many other schools like Yuki, Tsuchiura, and Moriya, so we did self-introductions and played several games to deepen interaction!

〇 BBQ & Free Time
Lunch on Day 1 was BBQ!
This time, several parents of participants helped us from starting the fire to grilling the food. Thank you to all the supporting parents.
The children enthusiastically helped with starting the fire, carrying dishes, and cleaning up after eating!
After that, there was a very long slide at Fureai no Sato, so we played around there during free time!

I believe that children of all grades were able to learn many things through the camp, even outside of soccer.
We hope that this experience will lead to positive changes in their daily lives going forward.
We will continue to plan events, and we look forward to your participation!
