They will participate in a tournament called "MUNDIALITO 2019" held in Tarragona, near Barcelona.
The team consists of 5 members from Kashima, 5 from Norte, and 6 from Tsukuba. Some players participated in the same U-12 tournament last year, while others are new additions to the Junior Youth this year and are experiencing their first overseas expedition.
They departed full of energy, their hearts swelling with anticipation at the prospect of playing soccer in Spain.
They left Narita Airport at 13:20, watched by their families.

After a 12-hour and 20-minute flight, they arrived at Rome Fiumicino Airport for a transfer. They did some stretching and light exercises to adjust their physical condition.

After another flight of about 2 and a half hours, they arrived at Barcelona Airport at 23:40 local time (Sunday 6:40 JST) (there is currently a 7-hour time difference due to daylight saving time).
At the airport, they were greeted by tournament staff and Mr. Sugimori, who will be assisting them locally.

After a 1 and a half hour bus ride from the airport, they arrived at the hotel at 1:30. The players immediately went to bed to prepare for the activities starting tomorrow.
Despite the long journey, they were all in good spirits and no one was feeling unwell.

Tomorrow's schedule includes training in the morning and an opening ceremony in the evening.
We hope that the players will actively engage in soccer, culture, and interactions with people here in Spain, and grow significantly from this experience.
