Academy Report

On the morning of the 5th day, we took a walk and exercised before 7 AM, then had breakfast.

At the beginning of this expedition, many players were picky eaters and didn't eat much, but as the days went by, they started eating properly.

Among them, player Gorai (Norte JY) made a conscious effort to eat more than anyone else, even at breakfast.After breakfast, from just past 9 AM, we split into two groups: one that played a half-court (8-a-side) training match against Changchun Yatai, and another that focused on training.
The training match result was 2-0 (1-0), with goals scored by Yuki Kinoshita (Tsukuba JY) and Atsushi Hashimoto (Norte JY).We had lunch after the practice. Since it was before the final match, we focused on eating carbohydrates.

The final was held at the main stadium where the opening match took place. There were many spectators, and we were able to play in a wonderful atmosphere.

Against an opponent who tried to connect passes carefully, we pressed from the front and tried to win the ball.

At the start, we struggled to adjust to the different court feel compared to the previous days, leading to some stretched play, but gradually we were able to win the ball effectively in the attacking third and create chances.

The first goal came from a free kick by Hashimoto from the wing, which Ota headed in. Misawa then broke free behind the defense, dribbled past the goalkeeper, and scored.

In the second half, we controlled the game but couldn't score for a while, until Gorai scored with a header from a corner kick. Near the end, Kinoshita reacted to a through pass behind the defense, rounded the goalkeeper, and scored.

While the score of 4 goals stands out, the defense maintained focus and repeatedly prepared and responded well.

We achieved our initial goal of winning the tournament.At the awards ceremony after the match, Coach Morishima was selected as the Best Coach, Hayato Ota received the Top Scorer award, and Yamato Misawa was named MVP.

After the tournament, we went out to eat at a restaurant in Nanjing and bought souvenirs at a tourist spot called Laodongmen.After sightseeing, we returned to the hotel and packed our belongings and cleaned our rooms in preparation for our return home tomorrow. This concluded today's activities.
