Academy Report

On the third day of the expedition, we went for a walk and did some exercises after waking up. Unlike yesterday, the weather was very good. After breakfast, we had a meeting at 10:00. We reviewed and reflected on yesterday's game. We analyzed the game using video footage and confirmed what we needed to do today to prepare for the match.



After the meeting, we had lunch, and everyone began preparing for the match. Then, we had another pre-match meeting.

Starting lineup for today's match:
GK: Sato Daichi, DF: Takahashi (Youth), Otsu, Sugaya, Nakagawa (Youth), MF: Iida, Fujii (Youth), Kikuchi, Sato Yushin, Sekiguchi, FW: Shibata. We started the match with five changes from yesterday's lineup.
The temperature before the match was over 40℃, but soon after the start, the sky became cloudy and the temperature dropped.The game saw us create chances by targeting the space behind the opponent's shallow defensive line and making timely runs into that space.
The opening goal came in the 10th minute of the first half, a counter-attack from the opponent's corner kick. Sekiguchi's brilliant through ball to Kikuchi allowed him to calmly slot the ball past the goalkeeper.

After that, the game was back and forth. In the 38th minute of the first half, Kikuchi on the right wing played a through ball to Shibata, who then delivered a cross from the right. Sekiguchi controlled the ball and quickly struck it with his left foot, scoring a magnificent goal into the far side to extend our lead.In the second half, the opponent changed their lineup and started with strong pressure. Pushed back by their momentum, we conceded a goal from a long-range shot after a clearing error from a cross.
The opponent's relentless attack continued, but we fought by changing players and formations, and focusing on defense. We did not yield to the referee's decisions, and maintained our concentration until the very end, putting our bodies on the line.

Even after the match, we began preparing for the next battle. We conducted training for players who did not participate in the match or had limited playing time.



After the match, we had dinner and concluded today's activities.
Tomorrow is a rest day, with training in the morning and a short sightseeing tour in the afternoon, guided by the tournament organizers.
