The youth team, comprised of first and second-year students, will participate in "THE HONGKONG FOOTBALL CLUB CITI SOCCER SEVENS 2017" held in Hong Kong from Thursday, May 25th to Monday, May 29th.
Although it was considerably later than scheduled, everyone arrived safely at Hong Kong Airport.
We arrived at the hotel much later than expected and missed our scheduled training time, so we had a light workout in a nearby park.
After training, we attended the tournament reception. It was a grand reception where all the teams gathered and enjoyed a meal.
This tournament simultaneously hosts two competitions: a Masters tournament for players aged 35 and over, and a Main tournament for players aged 16 and over.
Participating teams in the Main tournament include Leicester City, Aston Villa, and West Ham from England; Marseille from France; Bayer Leverkusen from Germany; Cagliari from Italy; Glasgow Rangers from Scotland; and Wellington Phoenix from New Zealand, among other distinguished teams.
Antlers are in Group B, grouped with teams like Leicester and Wellington. It seems that several players from Leicester's top team are also participating.
Before the reception, we were able to tour the match venue.
