Academy Report

We had our first morning in Brazil. We split into teams, walked around the hotel, and had breakfast. It was cool in the morning.

After breakfast, we headed to the ZICO Center, where the opening ceremony was held at 10:00 AM. Zico was not present at the opening ceremony, but he is scheduled to stay from tomorrow throughout the tournament and observe the players' performance.


After the opening ceremony, the Norte and Tsukuba teams split up and worked up a sweat for about 70 minutes on the artificial turf field. The Kashima team had a training match against the J-League selection team on the main pitch, but due to the pitch conditions, the match was canceled shortly after it started, and it was hastily changed to training.

When leaving the ZICO Center, the players voluntarily collected garbage that had fallen in the stands.


We returned to the hotel, showered, and had lunch. After resting, the Kashima and Tsukuba teams went for a walk. Afterwards, we held a meeting. The Norte team also held a thorough meeting for their first match, and each team made good use of the free time until dinner to prepare themselves to be in good condition.
