The team has been invited to this tournament for the past three years. Three years ago, a joint team from Kashima and Tsukuba Junior participated. The Tsukuba Junior team participated in the tournament two years ago and last year.
This year, since Tsukuba Junior is participating in a tournament in Italy, a school select team will be participating. The expedition members are 15 players selected from the 6th-grade select classes (Special Course, Elite Course, etc.).
After arriving at the hotel, they trained for about an hour at a nearby park.
After training, the participating teams had a meal at a facility near the match venue. Volunteer staff, including parents from the host team, welcomed them with homemade food.
