South Korea Expedition (July 28)

On the 8th day of our Korea tour, we played a practice match in Andong City.

We had a meeting in the morning and departed the hotel at 11:30 AM. It took about 2 hours by bus on the expressway to reach Andong City, where the practice match was held.
Andong is a large city nestled in the mountains, with the large Nakdong River flowing nearby. The riverbed featured a facility with two artificial turf soccer fields and one natural grass field.

The players who seemed to be from the A team might have relaxed a bit too much against an inferior opponent, as there was little overall movement, and with their style of short passing, the match ended in a scoreless draw.
In the second and third halves, fresh players came on one after another, and simple breakthroughs behind the defense led to goals against us. The second half was 0-2, and the third half was 1-2. The total score for three 30-minute halves was a 1-4 loss.
