South Korea expedition (July 24)

The youth team participating in the 2016 K LEAGUE U17 CHAMPIONSHIP is now on their fourth day of the tour and has reached the second day of the tournament's group stage.
Our opponent was Bucheon FC Youth. The result was a 4-1 victory. This makes it two consecutive wins in the group stage, and since Busan vs Anyang ended in a draw, the youth team has secured their advancement to the knockout stage.

After a late breakfast, we held a meeting from 11:30 AM.
We organized what we needed to do based on video footage of the opponents from the first day of the tournament and aimed for a unified approach to the game based on a shared understanding. After lunch at 2:00 PM, we took a walk and did exercises from 3:15 PM, had a meeting from 3:45 PM, and left the hotel at 4:30 PM to head to the match venue.

After our walk, we did exercises and stretches in the hotel's underground parking lot. Today was the hottest day of our Korea tour. Even though it was a night game, the humidity remained, making it a very tough match.

It was a very hot game, so the opponent could barely apply pressure from the front, and the first half allowed us to develop the ball securely. In the 13th minute of the first half, there was a dangerous situation where the opponent's direct free kick hit the post due to a misjudgment by goalkeeper Matsuzaki, and the rebound was shot, but this was the only crisis.
We scored goals from similar plays in the 25th and 29th minutes of the first half. A dribble initiated in the center opened up the right side, and a cross led to a goal. We got in front of the opponent in front of the goal and scored. Even after that, we had many chances but couldn't convert them.

In the 6th minute of the second half, a desired set piece resulted in a goal. Kawashima took a right corner kick, and Shirai jumped in at the near side in the center, scoring a magnificent header.

However, in the 18th minute of the second half, our concentration lapsed, and we conceded a goal from a free kick restart, connecting from the left wing and heading the ball in. This was a goal conceded from a set piece that should not have been lost, so we decided to regain our rhythm with player substitutions from this point.
In the 20th minute of the second half, Matsuzaki was replaced by Tsuneyoda as goalkeeper, and in the 24th minute, Watanabe was replaced by Shinozuka. Before that, we scored the decisive fourth goal. Asuma's mid-range shot created a rebound, and Ishizu scored from Kawashima's cross, sealing the match.

The final positions were as follows:

GK Tsuneyoda DF Kanazawa, Shirai, Shinozuka, Ujihara MF Sato, Asuma, Akatsuka, Takezawa FW Yagi, Fujieda
