Netherlands expedition (8/20)

[Tsukuba Junior]

Fifteen 6th-grade players from Tsukuba Junior departed from Narita Airport to participate in the "Unaited Jeugd 2015" tournament held in the Netherlands. We have been invited to this tournament since two years ago, and this is our third time participating. Every year, strong teams compete in this high-level tournament, and this year, teams like Dortmund and Schalke 04 will also be participating.

Some players were going abroad for the first time, and some were on their first overseas expedition, so both players and parents looked a bit nervous when they gathered at Narita Airport. However, once they boarded the plane, they quickly relaxed, watching movies and playing games.

After a flight of about 12 hours, we spent 2 and a half hours in Istanbul, our transit destination. Then, after another flight of about 3 and a half hours, we arrived in Amsterdam.

At the airport, we were met by Mr. Rene, the tournament organizer, and Mr. Marco, who will be supporting the team.

After that, we traveled by bus, and it was past 12 PM local time (7:30 AM Japan time) when we arrived at the hotel, after a long journey. The players looked a bit tired, but they went to bed, looking forward to the tournament starting the day after tomorrow.
