Kashima Area: April 2026 Event Report

In April 2026, events were held in the Kashima area for kids and elementary school students from 1st to 6th grade.

Various events, such as running schools and soccer classes for elementary school students, were held, and many players participated!

Please see below for details of the events and how they unfolded on the day.

[Saturday, April 11th: Physical School ~Running Edition~ in Kashima]
The "Physical School ~Running Edition~ in Kashima" was held at the Kashima Antlers Clubhouse Futsal Court for elementary school students from 3rd to 6th grade.

Over 100 players participated on the day!

At the physical school, we first conducted "core training" to improve body usage and muscle strength. The children worked hard, showing expressions of effort as they trained parts of their bodies they don't usually use.

After that, we moved on to running training, where participants learned movements such as body orientation, how to lift their legs, and how to swing their arms! Although they struggled with the unfamiliar running style, many players gradually understood the key points and started to get the hang of it! We hope that by understanding and mastering the correct running form, they will increase their speed and become players who can dominate others!

The physical school will continue to offer training on various themes, including running. Please join us!

[Sunday, April 19th: Kashima Area Strengthening & Special Course Showdown in Itako]
The "Showdown in Itako" was held at Smile Sports Park (Maekawa Athletic Park) for Kashima Area Strengthening and Special Course elementary school students from 4th to 6th grade.

A pride-filled showdown was held among all seven schools belonging to the Kashima area, including Kashima School, Asahi/Choshi School, Kamisu School, Namegata School, Hokota School, Itako School, and the strengthening course.

In the showdown, each coach also took command as a manager. It was an opportunity to showcase the techniques and mentality that each coach cultivates every week, and all players were fired up with the goal of defeating the strengthening course!

The glorious winner was "Itako School A Team."

I had the impression that many of the matches were spectacular, with the players' emotions clearly visible in every game!
We will continue to strive for improvement and grow through friendly competition at each school!

[Saturday, April 25th: Defense School in Kashima]
The "Defense School in Kashima" was held at the Kashima Antlers Clubhouse Futsal Court for elementary school students from 3rd to 6th grade.

The theme this time was "Winning the Ball." We not only focused on winning the ball but also on training to connect it to offense after winning it. By being conscious of how to take control through leg placement and approach, we saw players gradually increase the number of times they won the ball.

We will continue to train defensive techniques and ball-winning strategies in various situations, so please join our defense school!

[Sunday, April 26th: Soccer Class in Itako]
A "Soccer Class in Itako" was held at Smile Sports Park (Maekawa Athletic Park) for kids (ages 4-5) and elementary school students from 1st to 6th grade.

In the soccer class, we conducted training for various movements such as running and jumping, as well as essential soccer skills like kicking, stopping, and carrying the ball! Many different players participated, including those new to soccer and those already attending school. Everyone diligently chased the ball and enjoyed playing soccer!

At Smile Sports Park (Maekawa Athletic Park), where this event was held, the Kashima Antlers School Itako campus is held every Friday. We offer a variety of courses tailored to individual needs, such as regular courses and game courses! Free trial lessons are also available! Please come and join us!
