Match 17 of the Prince Takamado Trophy JFA U-18 Football Premier League 2024 EAST was played against Omiya Ardija U18 at the Kashima Stadium Sub-ground.
The match began with Kashima Youth dominating. Against an opponent with a three-back defense, Kashima attacked with depth, spearheaded by two forwards, Yoshida (No. 40) and Hirashima (No. 32).
In the 19th minute, a cross from the wing was ultimately tapped in by left-back Sato (No. 7), giving Kashima Youth the opening goal.
Kashima continued to maintain their advantage and went into halftime with a 1-0 lead.
In the 78th minute, Yoshida (No. 40) headed in a goal from a set-piece, extending the lead. Following this, two junior high school students, Ogasawara (No. 47) and Takagi (No. 56), were substituted in, aiming for further goals.
In the 90+3rd minute, Ogasawara (No. 47) scored from a loose ball after a cross, making it 3-0, and the match ended. The team was able to deliver results for the academy students who came to support them.
