Matchday 16 of the Prince Takamado Trophy JFA U-18 Football Premier League 2024 EAST was played away at Shohei High School Ground against Shohei High School.
Early in the first half, we conceded a goal due to a mistake in our own half.
The game continued to be played at the opponent's pace, but our solid defense, centered around goalkeeper Kishino, prevented any further goals.
During a tough period, Hirashima received the ball and delivered a cross, which Cho headed towards the goal. Unfortunately, it hit the crossbar, but we gradually gained momentum.
In the second half, the introduction of junior high third-year students Takagi (56) and Ogasawara (47) shifted the rhythm to Kashima Youth. We had more opportunities to press the Shohei goal through ball possession, but we couldn't score.
We continued to attack, but the early goal conceded at the start of the match proved to be the deciding factor, resulting in our third consecutive loss.
