Matchday 9 of the Prince Takamado Trophy JFA U-18 Football Premier League 2024 EAST saw Kashima Antlers Youth face FC Tokyo U-18 at the Kashima Soccer Stadium subground.

From the start of the first half, there was an intense battle for the ball, with attacks often initiated by long balls.
In the 35th minute of the first half, they conceded a goal from an opponent's left corner kick.

Despite trying to score, the opponent's rhythmic attacks led to more situations near their goal. Unable to create scoring opportunities, they went into halftime one goal down.

Soon after the start of the second half, in the 47th minute, Ogasawara #10, who was brought on at halftime, intercepted an opponent's pass. Sato #7 picked up the loose ball and immediately passed it to Ogasawara #10, who then ran up the left flank. Tokuda #13 received the ball in front of the goal and made a one-touch pass to Naga. His precisely aimed shot rattled the back of the net, equalizing the score.

Kashima Youth have now won four consecutive matches. They earned these three points even without Yoshida #40 and Fukuoka #19, who are away on national team duty. The team continues to fight as one, no matter the circumstances.
