We will be holding "Walking Football in Kashima" for elementary school students in grades 1-6 at the Kashima Antlers Clubhouse Futsal Court on Saturday, January 17th.
◎What is Walking Football?
Walking Football is "mini-soccer enjoyed by walking." Its origin lies in "soccer for health" held in England in July 2011, targeting people aged 55 and over.
It was first played in Japan around 2013 and has been spreading throughout the country as a sport that anyone can participate in and enjoy with laughter.
It is played with rules such as "① no running, ② no physical contact, ③ no aerial balls, ④ pass within 6 seconds," making it a sport that everyone can enjoy regardless of age, gender, or previous soccer experience.
The purpose of this event is for "all participants to have fun and create a better day through soccer."
◎It offers various benefits beyond just enjoyment!
〈Adults〉
By not running, it's possible to engage in prolonged exercise without placing a heavy burden or strain on the body (heart rate). Furthermore, by continuously walking at a nearly constant speed during the match, the activity level measured will be higher than light jogging, thus providing efficient physical exercise benefits.
〈Children〉
Unlike regular running soccer, walking soccer is slower, allowing children to acquire all fundamental training, including soccer techniques (stopping, kicking), dynamic visual acuity, and the coordination of vision and body movements.
Families are also very welcome to participate!

【Participation Fee】
School members: 2,200 yen (tax included) / group
General public: 2,750 yen (tax included) / group
*Participation is generally for parents and children.
*One parent & one child constitutes one group. Up to two children will be charged the same amount.
*If more participants join than the above, an additional +550 yen (tax included) / person will be charged.
Example) For school members
Father, 2 children participate = 2,200 yen
Father, mother, 2 children participate = 2,750 yen
Father, mother, grandfather, 1 child participate = 3,300 yen

Cashless payment only
*Various credit cards, transportation IC cards (Suica, PASMO), iD, and QR payment (d払い/Merpay) are accepted.
*Cash payments are not accepted.
【What to Bring】
Soccer attire, ball, water bottle, point card (for school members only)

【Other Notes】
・This event is eligible for point cards (1 point).
*Those without a point card will receive one at the reception desk (for school members only).
・If the event is canceled midway due to rain, lightning, etc., the participation fee cannot be refunded. In such cases, you can participate in an equivalent event at a later date without a participation fee.
*However, this does not apply if the canceled event had already passed half of its scheduled time at the point of cancellation.
・Photos or videos taken at this event may be published on the club's official website and club media (including social media). Please only apply if you agree to this.
・In case of cancellation, school members will be notified via Sgrum and general participants via email or phone by 11:30 on the day of the event.
・First aid will be provided by us for injuries sustained on the day, but we ask each family to handle subsequent care. Please be aware of this in advance.
