Tournament Outline
・48 teams will be divided into 12 groups from A to L for the group stage. The top two teams from each group and the top 8 third-place teams (total 32 teams) will advance to the knockout stage.・Match duration will be 70 minutes for the group stage through the quarterfinals, and 80 minutes for the semifinals and final (halftime is 10 minutes).
・In the group stage, if a winner is not decided within the regulation time, the match will be a draw. However, in the rounds from the Round of 32 to the semifinals, if a winner is not decided within the regulation time, the winner will be determined by a penalty shootout. In the final, after a 5-minute break, there will be 20 minutes of extra time, and if a winner is still not decided, the winner will be determined by a penalty shootout.
